These two one-act operas by Puccini feature David and Kimberly Corman. GIANNI SCHICCHI (think Johnny Skeeky): David Corman’s comic adaptation brings Puccini home to West Texas where every man’s middle name is Bob. SISTER ANGELICA: Loving compassion confronts self-righteous hypocrisy expressed in some of Puccini’s most glorious music.
